The toxin works by blocking a potassium ion channel called Kv1.3, a pore in the cell membrane that opens and closes in response to electrical signals and aids in the delivery of calcium ions, which pick up messages between cells.
Beech continued, that the poison will suppress the natural response of blood vessels to injury, thus keeping the blood vessels clean. When they saw how this worked, the research team was surprised by this. Based on research, the scorpion venom has been proven to be effective even in a small molecular level.
